Energy Conservation, What's That?

She hit 1 year December 22...and she still has no concept of energy management/conservation

So she goes, goes, goes

And then crashes hard

Only occasionally getting up to make sure you aren't trying to move or something 

Then it's back to sleep

Lily Style Weekday Nights

Weeknight in with this one are pretty predictable.

She lays around,

Sprawls out with her ribs digging into my leg,

Really sprawls out for full comfort,

Keeps watch,

And occasionally we revisit mom bites back 

But it's mostly just love 

And she's pretty cute when she sleeps

Just like children

But it would be nice if they would tone it down

This is one dead squeak

After leaving her kennel, she thought twice about that rope 

And had to take it with her

And take over the bed

Until I locked it safely in the kennel

Things Lily Hates

Lily hates 2 things:

Baths (most badass dog status at risk)

Going outside in the morning - she'll just stay in her kennel til she thinks she's safe when I've left the room

Lily's First Thanksgiving

She boobs when just creating havoc is not an option 

She learns fast who treat lady is 

And she gets cuddled by everybody 

She loves her Uncle Seth

A lot

From the one weekend in Vegas

....because it's guaranteed treats at the service counter 

She sits nicely 

And meets new people 

Sniffs the fountain 

And sometimes we even make a kid's day 

And kick Santa's butt

Park Time with Lily

She started her park time ventures as a pup

And quickly got into the ins and outs

We find a lot of interesting creatures 

Especially squirrels 

Who have to be chased 

And then we boob when we don't get our way 

But dunking the entire head in water helps 

We occasionally make friends 

And sometimes we just sit pretty 

Sometimes, it's not friends we find

But we try

And it's clear she's the "most bad ass dog ever
